Resilience is the ability to cope with whatever life throws at you, and bounce back stronger and more steadfast than before. Resilient people work through life challenges using personal resources, including social support, coping strategies, sagacity (which is the wisdom and insight that we hold onto), and solution- seeking. The huge myth around resilience is that you either have it or you don't. Resilience involves behaviours, thoughts, and actions that can be learned and developed in anyone (McDonald et al., 2012). Since my journey began as an Ultra Athlete & Performance Coach, I've used many tools that have helped me develop resilience to overcome obstacles and deal with mental challenges. This program specifically focuses on three main tools; Doors Closed Doors Open Using Values to Build Resilience The Resilience Plan (Four S's - supports, strategies, sagacity, solution-seeking behaviors) This course is designed to take out the waffle and give you actionable practices to build long lasting resilience. The tools and actions are built over a period of 4 weeks. Week 1 Doors Closed Doors Open Shifting your focus Week 2 Using Values to Build Resilience Week 3 The Resilience Plan (Supports, Strategies, Sagacity, Solution-Seeking Behaviours) Week 4 Putting The Plan Into Action This program will also include a 1hr session with me over Zoom once you've completed the program.
